SMS in Call Flow
Surgeries can now add a 'send SMS' option to their call flow. This means that if a patient calls, using a mobile phone, they can choose to receive information via SMS.
This option will be particularly useful for surgeries offering a new service or who are frequently asked the same question. For example; if you wish to share details of a new online consultation service or provide your revised opening hours.
Patients can still continue to remain in the call flow if they wish to speak to a member of staff. Please note only UK mobile numbers are supported, callers using a landline will not be able to utilise this option.
For X-flow customers there is now an option to drag and drop an SMS block into a call flow. Customers managing their call flows from the Configuration Console should click on config.x-onweb.com/sms to access the SMS option.
