Interface for Hosted Voice Recording
A recording software user interface provides secure web access to recordings.

Stored in WAV or MP3 format on our server for 6 months minimum period, recordings can be downloaded to authenticated users over a secure internet link, or sent by email. Longer storage can be arranged.
Recordings can be downloaded to client PC or server whenever and as as often as desired. Recordings are deleted from our server automatically when their lifetime expires.
Hosted Recording Safety
Call recording hosted within the X-on Cloud has significant benefits over traditional on-site hardware. X-on replicates data, including call recordings, across multiple sites and provides a high level of availability using clustered servers. This ensures customer business continuity even when the customer site experiences a disaster.
Traditional Phone Systems
X-on's hosted PhonePresence Cloud Phone System includes call recording as standard. Inbound calls pass through the X-on network and can be recorded as required.
For outbound call recording, a prefix number is dialled directing the call to the X-on hosted system, with subsequent onward routing to the required destination. Prefix numbers are usually programmable into handsets.
Some PSTN equipment can be configured to duplicate the PSTN call as a VoIP call. Where the client has this option, calls can be sent through to X-on for recording without dialling the prefix number.
Mobile Call Recording
Where handsets are connected to X-on by data link (VoIP), all inbound and outbound calls are routed via the X-on network and recorded as required.
