Our Academy is built on the knowledge and experience we’ve acquired by successfully implementing over 3,500 surgeries across England and Wales. It is a wrapper for all our learning methods and is designed to equip your team with the skills and knowledge needed to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and ultimately, improve patient access.
The available resources within our eLearning platform are carefully tailored to align with NHS priorities, with a particular focus on the Primary Care Access Recovery Plan and providing robust support to complement the Access Optimisation Programme. Learners can manage their own pathways through the interactive courses. As they make progress in their training, learners will also have the opportunity to earn certificates and accrue CPD time to feed into their Personal Development Plans. Start your journey to:

Client Relationship Manager
As you go live with Surgery Connect you gain access to a dedicated Client Relationship Manager who will become your direct point of contact, and offer regular service reviews. They are there to ensure that you are getting the most out of the features of the system and to help you track your success.
On-Site Training
Where your training requirements go beyond our standard offer, we will facilitate additional training through our specialist training team, they will work with you to understand your current workflows and processes and help to make bespoke suggestions for improvement – this will be delivered through half-day sessions at a pre-arranged cost.
Live Lunchtime Learning
These sessions are designed to be used as refreshers. They are casual lunchtime sessions to help users become confident with features like the Phonebar or X-Flow. They are delivered by a live trainer on Microsoft TEAMS.
Help Centre
Access our online Help Centre to read useful articles and guides on every aspect of Surgery Connect. Each console has a dedicated icon linking to the relevant guides, but once in the Help Centre, you can search for anything using keywords.
eLearning Platform
The eLearning platform, accessible to all Surgery Connect users free of charge, offers diverse and interactive training resources for convenient learning. It includes concise tutorial videos, engaging interactive graphics, and personalised feedback for an effective learning experience.
National Webinar Programme
In June, as part of our Access Optimisation programme, we were thrilled to deliver a series of complimentary webinars focusing on the four key features at the centre of improved access.
Supporting Professional Development
Through the Academy, learners can manage their own pathways, discovering how to optimise their use of our software and services innovatively, with help and support from experts along the way. As they progress in their training, they will have the opportunity to earn certificates and accrue CPD time to feed into their Personal Development Plans.
