With increasing regulatory and public pressure for accountability in healthcare services, and pressure upon NHS professionals to provide evidence of good practice, recording of calls is a useful tool when problems arise.
Recordings can also provide a simple aide-memoire when notes of a patient conversation are unclear.
Surgery Connect Call Recordings are held securely in X-on's UK data centres. They can be accessed by authorised individuals using password controlled access from web connections including via the N3 network.
Calls can be recorded on landline and mobiles, inbound and outbound and no special equipment is required. Call recording can be added to an existing system or is an integral part of the Surgery Connect total hosted phone system.
X-on satisfy the security requirements for PCI Compliance, ISO 27001 Security Standards certification, and ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standards certification. X-on are also members of CISAS, an independent communications provider dispute resolution service, are a Crown Commercial Service Supplier and have been assessed against the NHS Information Governance Toolkit. So your recordings are safe!
