Dealing with peaks of inbound calls when appointment lines open is challenge. Without a proper queuing system, patients will get busy which results in panic redialling and a lottery as to who gets through first.
Surgery Connect Call Queueing manages the queue in the network, or Cloud, so you don't need to increase lines or have additional equipment on site. In fact you can have less lines and save costs.
Call Queueing can work on an existing local number or a low cost 03 number - there is no need for an expensive 084 number, for example.
Before joining the queue, patients can be given recorded advice, or the option to direct their call to a different department - the dispensary, or to obtain results, for example. Callers can be told how many people are waiting in the queue.
Call Queuing can be added to an existing phone system or form part of a complete Surgery Connect installation.
